- DO NOW: Do you believe that you will get a better grade on this personal narrative speech than the group speech presentation? (Please explain why.)
- Independent: Students will finalize their notecards for their presentations.
- Collaborative: Students will collaborate with a partner to practice their speeches. They will also use a 5-minute timer and make adjustments to their speeches to observe time limit allotted.
- Whole Class: Speech presentations; audience will proactively listen to speakers and ask relevant questions afterwards.
- Teacher will complete a graded Personal Speech Presentation Feedback sheet for all presenters.
- Achieve 3000 articles assigned. Ensure that you complete all portions. Thought Questions must have at least one (1) complete paragraph summarizing the question posed. Academic conventions (refer to the rubric) must be evident in your responses.
