- DO NOW: How much do you think learning the definition of mathematical terms is important to understanding the concept?
- Whole Class: All students will copy agenda for the day. Teacher will give minilesson on dividing two (2) fractions and reducing to simplest form.
- Collaborative Group: Students will use Rally Coach structure to develop ten (10) real world word problems for dividing fractions.
- Independent: Students will copy Key Mathematical Terms from teacher website in their math terms packet. Students will go to designated website: watch video/take quiz and do activity. For other websites practice dividing fractions. Writing: (1) Students will submit ten (10) problems complete with answers from each website; (2) Student must also give a full written summary of how to answer the problem if you were to teach another student.
- Exit ticket: Completed independent assignment and collaborative assignment. I should have received your parent/guardian signed multiplying decimals test!
- Homework: Study for your dividing fractions test this week!
